Line Bøgh (Feat. Helene Bak and Kirstine Birk)
Line Bøgh is an alternative pop composer, based in Copenhagen. She combines a warm songwriter sound with heavy choir arrangements and electronic elements such as vocal loops, drum pads and keyboard
sounds. Line’s first album ”Something Else and Something Else and Something Else Again” received much praise in both Denmark and Germany. Line has been touring a lot in Germany the last two years,
and this time she is presenting, not only her own songs, but also songs written with the Danish songwriters Helene Bak and Kirstine Birk. The three musicians have been working together for some time,
and on this tour you will get to know them all as songwriters. Line Bøgh, Helene Bak and Kirstine Birk are working on their first album together to be released in 2018.
Helene Bak broke the sound wall 2 years ago with her debut album “Oh So Quiet.” Helene Bak has been singing since she was a child and has always known that “the music wanted her”. In
2003 she graduated from The Danish National Academy of Music with rhythmic piano as her major.
In 2003 DR Bigband performed the song “It’s Spring” in connection with the competition “New Jazz Star Of The Year” and afterwards invited Helene Bak to perform as a soloist at the same competition
the year after in 2004.
Kirstine Birk is a charming singer/songwriter based near Aarhus, Denmark. Her two albums 'On A Day Like This' and 'Patience' was warmly recieved by media and fans. She has had
success with five singles on Danish Radio.
Solo and with her band she has played all over the country on festivals and in clubs. Last year she was invited to Greenland to play at 'Arctic Sounds Music Festival'.
She has also travelled in the US co-write with songwriters from Nashville and Austin.
